The Enid Television Network (ETN) is committed to programming that helps residents learn more about city government meetings including functions of various city departments, and to inform our residents about educational and city-wide programs.

A.J. Wells
A.J. WellsOperations Engineer
Alan (A.J.) Wells was hired as Operations Engineer of the Enid Television Network in 2014. He is responsible for Maintenance, upgrades and operations for the City of Enid. Previously, he was employed at Leonardo’s Children’s Museum as Operations Manager, at PEGASYS as Operations Manager and at Enid Public Schools as a part of the Foreign Language Department.

A.J. is a native of Enid and has been in Television since 1971. He is also involved with the Kiwanis Club of Enid, where he is on the Board of Directors and has held the position of President of the club. In his spare time, he collects and restores obscure electronic devices and farms part time at Lahoma.

Dane Tate
Dane TateProduction Assistant

Date Tate was hired as Production Assistant in 2015. He is responsible for planning and scheduling of programs, event coverage, training, consultation, directing, production, and other related functions for television broadcast.

He graduated in 1987 with a Bachelors of Art in Radio, TV, and Film from Oklahoma University. He has diverse experience in previous jobs as Audio Engineer, Video Producer, Sound system designer and installer, and audio equipment manufacturer.

Steve Kime
Steve KimeDirector of Public Relations
Steve Kime serves as the Director of Public Relations and Marketing for the city of Enid. He also serves as Director of the Enid Television Network. Steve’s professional path has included broadcasting, corporate training, management consulting and he has served as Executive Director for a statewide non-profit organization. He has a Masters in Management degree and a Bachelor degree from the University of Oklahoma. Steve is author of the children’s book entitled Rollin on Route 66.
Derrick G. Silas Sr.
Derrick G. Silas Sr.Director of Electronic Communications
Derrick G. Silas, Sr. is the Director of Electronic Communications for the city of Enid. In this role, he is responsible for day-to-day webserver and database performance as well as communication via website and social media platforms.

Mr. Silas has a background in marketing, advertising, strategic planning, system and database administration, assessment, computer hardware/software support and sales management.

He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Mississippi Valley State University. Derrick enjoys writing poetry, hymns, psalms, and musical compositions. In addition, in his spare time, he gives voice and music lessons to children and adults.
